3 cups - frozen strawberries, slightly thawed
1 cup - raw cashews
1 cup - silken or soft tofu(about 1/2 block)
2 Tbsp - lemon juice
3/4 tsp - 100% pure food grade calcium carbonate(optional)
1/2 - probiotic capsule(optional)
- Place the strawberries, cashews, tofu, lemon juice, and calcium powder, if using, in a food processor or blender. If you are using a probiotic capsule, carefully open the capsule and pour half the capsule into the blender. You can always add more, but too much probiotics can lend a chalkier flavor.
- Blend until very creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Depending on the power of your blender, this may take up to 5 minutes. If you are having trouble blending, add in a splash or 2 of milk of choice.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days
