Roasted Garlic Hummus

1 - large garlic bowl (5 - 10 cloves)
1 can - (15oz) chickpeas
1 tbsp - tahini
1 tsp - salt
2 tbsp - lemon juice
2 tbsp - olive oil
2 tbsp - water
1/2 oz - fresh chives

  • Preheat oven to 320F
  • Put the garlic bulb on a baking sheet, put the pan in the oven, and roast for 30 minutes | Remove and leave to cool, then peel | Drain the chickpeas | Put the roasted garlic, chickpeas, tahini, salt, lemon, juice, oil, and water into the food processor and whizz to a smooth paste | Finely chop the chives and stir them in at the end

  • A good rule of thumb when making hummus is to process the ingredients for 4 minutes total. 2 minutes, scrape down the sides of the food processor, then put it on for another 2 minutes. This will make your hummus nice and creamy
