1 can - (15 oz) chickpeas
2 - small garlic cloves
2 tbsp - tahini
3/4 tsp - salt
1/4 cup - water
2 1/2 tbsp - lemon juice
2 tbsp - olive oil
- Drain the chickpeas
- Peel the garlic
- Put all the ingredients into the food processor
- Whizz to a smooth paste and serve
- A good rule of thumb when making hummus is to process the ingredients for 4 minutes total. 2 minutes, scrape down the sides of the food processor, then put it on for another 2 minutes. This will make your hummus nice and creamy
