Buckwheat Bowl

3/4 cup - buckwheat groats- soaked in water for a few hours before making
splash of almond milk
1 - banana
1/2 cup - blueberries, chopped
1/2 cup - strawberries, chopped
1 Tbsp - raw pumpkin seeds
1 Tbsp - unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tsp - cinnamon

  • Drain water from buckwheat and put on stovetop on medium heat. Cover buckwheat with water and cook, stirring occasionally until water has absorbed and buckwheat start to look a little "mushy" (Usually takes about 10 min)
  • Put buckwheat in bowl and mix in milk.
  • Top with fruit, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, and cinnamon.

  • You could also soak buckwheat overnight
